Hypnosis is a wonderfully calm and effective way to create positive change

At the beginning of the session, you will be asked to briefly touch on your problem state, but the main focus will then be to discuss in detail how you’d like that to be different.

Once you have established your desired outcome, I will guide you into a relaxed state and help facilitate your desired outcome by using gentle repetitive language patterns.

Both Psychology and Neuroscience say that this relaxed state is a heightened focus of concentration which allows space for you to alter your perspective and outlook positively.
Hypnosis is a voluntary process which requires you to be willing to listen, relax and focus on my voice. Some people find it an easier process than others, but I believe that all people can access the benefits of hypnosis if they stay open to the process.
Trance is a state that most people naturally encounter throughout the day. Good examples are when you are immersed in a good film, which is so easy to watch that your mind drifts off. Daydreaming is also a form of trance, or we can go into a trance like state when playing a musical instrument. Another form of trance recognisable to most may be encountered when we are driving a car on a familiar journey; we might arrive at our destination, not remembering parts of the journey, we are here in fact in trance and using our unconscious mind and memory to navigate.
My point here is that the trance state is something that occurs naturally in our minds. I am expertly trained to help guide you to access this deep relaxed state along with your storehouse of positive memories to help facilitate your desired outcome.
“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.”

I went for coaching with Paula because I had been completely lacking in motivation recently and it had been making me feel stressed and anxious.

I wanted to feel clearer and motivated to complete some important projects that I had started but was finding hard to complete.

I was particularly interested in accessing hypnosis as an approach as I had read that it was great at reducing stress and anxiety and I thought it would help me to create some space to work out what was getting in the way of me completing the projects. I found the first session to be hugely relaxing and Paula was reassuring and made me feel safe to be led through the process.

Within a few days of the session, I noticed that I was feeling much more motivated and felt like my essence had returned.

I can’t believe what a difference just one session has made for me, and I am so looking forward to the next one!
